SHAPING THE GLOBAL FUTURE WORKFORCE BY
CREATING PATHWAYS FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY HAD ACCESS TO STEAM AND AI LEARNING TO ENTER THE TECHNOLOGY ECOSYSTEM
Turn Up for STEAM
Turn Up for STEAM® is a multi-day event where coding becomes an artistic expression through music composition, computational art, and game design. Designed for students who have not previously had access to high-quality STEAM and AI learning, the program uses hip-hop as a creative entry point to build problem-solving and technical skills. Participants gain hands-on experience while exploring how creative technologies connect to real-world applications and emerging career pathways in the technology and innovation economy.
AI Literacy
The AI Literacy program provides students who have not previously had access to AI learning with foundational knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence. Through hands-on workshops, real-world applications, and industry-informed content, participants learn how AI is used across modern industries. The program emphasizes safe and ethical use of technology while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing learners for future opportunities in technology-driven careers.
STEAM in the Game
STEAM in the Game is a virtual STEAM educational gaming camp and eSports experience designed for students who have not previously had access to this kind of learning. The program introduces participants to creative technologies and career pathways in gaming, esports, and extended reality (XR), including virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. Through interactive challenges and competitions, learners gain exposure to emerging technologies while building skills that connect to careers in the digital and interactive media industries.
STEAM Activation Series
The STEAM Activation Series integrates educator training and student learning to expand access to high-quality STEAM and AI education. The program focuses on students and educators who have not previously had access to this type of learning, creating scalable impact through both classroom and lab environments. Educators receive training in design thinking, systems thinking, and AI literacy, enabling them to deliver STEAM Activation Labs that provide hands-on experiences in coding, data, and automation. This dual approach allows educators to reach large numbers of students while connecting learning to real-world workforce applications.
National STEAM Day
National STEAM Day is an annual event that celebrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics while creating access to learning opportunities for students and families. The event is designed for participants who may not have previously had exposure to STEAM and AI learning, helping them explore the wide range of career pathways available in technology-driven fields. Through expert panels, keynote speakers, and interactive experiences, participants gain awareness of how STEAM skills connect to real-world careers across industries and the evolving global workforce.
