JOIN FUTURE CREATIVE TECHNOLOGISTS AND THOUGHT LEADERS FROM ACROSS OUR NATION
Our program is a sustainable framework focused on integrating STEAM and global competencies during Out of School Time (OST) in informal virtual learning setting. Our intensive learning is five to six – weeks period in Spring, Summer and Fall with monthly wing taps between Spring, Summer and Fall sessions. The mentoring program will engage young ladies in interactive arts, problem-solving, and creating immersive digital technologies.
In this residency, you will learn about networks, coding, and networks visualization. We aim to deliver problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for understanding society systems, structures and about the that matters to you. One way we do this is by connect the dots.

Basic Eligibility:
All students may apply for the STEAM and Global Citizenship Mentoring Program. To support the Strong TIES goal of increasing the number of students from underrepresenting group entering STEAM disciplines, applicants will be reviewed and evaluated by the Strong TIES Review Committee according to the following criteria:
- Female
- Aged 13 to 18
- A current high school student at the time of application, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
If you do not have the GPA, still apply. - Demonstrated interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics by participating in STEAM/STEM events, programs, camps, clubs or coursework (grades science and math)
- Is a member of an underrepresented group in STEM/Tech – STEAM (i.e., Black/African American, LatinX, Hispanic, Native American, Pacific Islander) in terms of race, creed, or background
